Job Summary
Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Level 3 Apprentice) – South Elmsall Warehouses.
Compensation and Hours
Basic pay £21.32 per hour, 15% nights premium, bonus scheme for a full year OTE of approximately £54,000. 42‑hour shift rotation covering days, nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
* Fault‑finding and diagnosis on a range of PLC‑controlled equipment.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance on pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors and robots in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations and industry standard practices.
* Analyse and resolve electrical and mechanical faults and perform repairs.
* Conduct regular inspections and assist in the completion and review of risk assessments for the department.
* Maintain ASI and Profibus systems.
* Work at heights up to 20 m with appropriate training.
Qualifications and Experience
* Level 3 Apprenticeship in Electrical Maintenance Engineering or equivalent.
* Experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Technician in a similar role.
* Experience with PLC systems.
* Experience maintaining pneumatics, hydraulics and conveyors.
* Resilient, able to work well under pressure.
* Team player with good communication skills.
* Flexible with a “can‑do” attitude and adaptable to changing environment and working hours.
* Computer literate.
