MacGregor Recruitment are recruiting for an Assistant Manager / or an experienced Branch Assistant for our client based in Bridgwater, who are an independent supplier of windows, doors, bi-folds and building plastics to trade.
Assistant Manager role:
* Working closely with the Branch Manager and as part of a team of 3 you will build relationships with your customers and deliver a great customer service
* Answer queries from your trade customers, and process quotes and orders using first degree and business micros (training can be provided)
* Serving on the trade counter, scheduling deliveries / collections, and helping with the goods in/out
* Occasional delivery driving of customer orders to site
* Deputising for the Branch Manager - opening and closing the branch, running the shift, cashing up and reporting the figures. Training provided
Assistant Manager Skills & Experience
* Knowledge of windows and doors is highly desirable
* Experience gained within a trade supply or trade counter branch is essential
* A hands on approach to help out with the branch operations
* Great people skills - able to build good relationships with your trade customers
* A valid driving licence
The Package:
* Basic £23.5k
* Uncapped monthly bonus - a % of the branch monthly sales, paid the following month (details on application)
* Monday to Friday (No Saturday working)
