An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Nurse to work in an amazing brand new care home opening very soon based in the Malvern, Worcestershire area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.
A brand new, luxury care home will provide the highest quality residential and nursing care, delivered compassionately by highly experienced staff.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Duties:
1. Monitoring standards of care delivered to our residents.
2. Ensuring all Night staff on your shift contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Home.
3. Ensuring resident needs are being met by interacting with them, resolving any problems where appropriate.
4. Reporting any ill-health amongst residents and making requests for GP/Professional visits when needed.
5. Preparing, updating and evaluating Resident Care Plans.
6. General Nursing work and personal care as appropriate.
7. Administering prescribed medication and maintaining the necessary records as per Company guidelines.
8. Supporting the Registered Manager with auditing Care Plan documentation to ensure best practice.
9. Attend relevant staff meetings.
10. Advising the Registered Manager of any incidents/accidents.
11. Ensuring there is a clear and concise handover at every shift.
12. Complete supervisions and appraisals to ensure best practice is adhered to.
13. Assist the Registered Manager with the responses to Provider audits in a timely manner.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Ability to manage a small team.
2. Lead by example and have a genuine passion for nursing care and working with the elderly.
3. Comfortable leading others to achieve high standards without compromise.
4. Experience of working in a care home environment would be an advantage but not essential as we will provide the knowledge required if you have the relevant skillset and experience and share our core values.
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of GBP23.00 per hour and the annual salary is up to GBP52,624 per annum.
