Job Title: Lead Window and Door Installer
Salary: £36,500 per year
Holidays: 28 days (including bank holidays), increasing by 1 day per year of service
Location: Central Scotland
Hours: Full-time
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Lead Window and Door Installer to join our team. You will be responsible for the installation of a variety of window and door products to a high professional standard, while leading and mentoring a small team of installers. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with excellent technical skills and leadership experience in the fenestration industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out the installation of uPVC, aluminium and composite windows and doors in residential and/or commercial settings
* Lead, coordinate, and supervise a team of installers on-site
* Ensure all installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard
* Maintain excellent customer service and communication throughout the installation process
* Carry out final quality checks and ensure job completion meets customer expectations and company standards
* Identify and troubleshoot any installation issues or challenges on-site
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
* Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working order
* Complete required paperwork and reports accurately and on time
Requirements:
* Proven experience in window and door installation (minimum 3 years preferred)
* Leadership or supervisory experience in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of different window and door systems and installation techniques
* Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
* Own basic tools (specialist tools will be provided if required)
