<div><p>Equans is looking for a HR Business Partner to join the team on a permanent basis covering the North of England. Full‑time role, 37.5 hours per week, competitive salary, company vehicle/allowance, bonus, and benefits package.</p><p>This regional role covers the North of England, possibly the Midlands and Wales. The post holder can be based anywhere in the UK, but travel to these areas is required.</p><p>Hybrid working with an expectation to be on site two days per week.</p><p>Looking for an experienced HR Business Partner with previous HR BP experience in a large corporate environment, complex grievance and disciplinary experience, analytical thinking, strong influencing skills, relationship building, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.</p><p>The HR Business Partner will have one direct report and be responsible for comprehensive business partner support for people matters across approximately 1,700 colleagues in a national multisite contract. The role will support regional management teams to deliver improvements in culture, change management, compliance and cost control to drive engagement and financial results.</p><p>Will also lead and develop HR Advisors, working with the wider HR Team.</p><h3>What will you deliver?</h3><ul><li>HR Partner to HMCTS Management Team developing and delivering the People Plan and managing change projects</li><li>Identifying HR priorities from business and people plans, translating business requirements into effective HR practices and delivering people solutions aligned to business objectives</li><li>Work with the business in support of Workforce / Target operating model review</li><li>Management of job evaluation/organisational design work</li><li>Gather data from a variety of sources and provide effective insight and analysis, providing recommendations for improvement and monitoring outcomes</li><li>Compliance checking and review including clearances, adherence to government and process controls and GDPR as required</li><li>Coordination of the annual HR cycle, including annual salary reviews, bonus confirmation and performance management</li><li>Lead for mobilisation projects, structural change and other people change projects across the Regions</li><li>Ensuring talent and succession plans are in place across the contract with appropriate development plans that are monitored</li><li>Advising on grievance and disciplinary processes and action including attendance at hearings as required</li><li>Analysis of progress against people KPIs, providing recommendations for improvement and monitoring outcomes</li><li>Establishment control, ensuring all changes are appropriately tested, approved and delivered and to safeguard profitability</li><li>Coaching line managers in all people processes to ensure best practice and employee engagement is enhanced</li><li>Delivering training to improve performance and engaging in follow on coaching</li><li>Continually review personal performance ensuring it meets the needs of users</li></ul><h3>What can we offer you?</h3><p>On offer is a competitive salary, car or car allowance, bonus and benefits package, which includes:</p><ul><li>25 days annual leave (+ public holidays)</li><li>Life Cover equivalent to 2 times annual salary</li><li>Employee discount shopping schemes on major brands and retailers</li><li>Gym membership discounts</li><li>Cycle to work scheme</li><li>Holiday purchase scheme</li><li>2 corporate social responsibility days per year</li><li>Broad range of learning opportunities, such as professional qualifications, collective/individual training, and personalised support programmes</li><li>Attractive Employee Referral Rewards Scheme</li><li>Access to growing employee networks including AccessAbility, Encompass, RISE, WOMEN TOGETHER, Working Parents, and Young Professionals</li><li>24/7 Employee Assistance Programme and access to mental wellbeing app</li></ul><h3>Who are we looking for?</h3><ul><li>CIPD qualified</li><li>Experience in an HRBP role across a large‑scale multisite contract including line management experience</li><li>Track record in HR and change management</li><li>Knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice</li><li>Experience of complex grievance and disciplinary issues</li><li>Experience of TUPE</li><li>Commercial acumen and credibility</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels and build effective relationships, with excellent communication and collaboration skills</li><li>Analytical skills with the ability to define and measure impact and value of interventions</li><li>Confident with data with the ability to manipulate data, in different formats, derive insights, commentary, and compelling fact‑based conclusions</li><li>Numerate with strong verbal reasoning skills</li><li>Ability to work to tight deadlines and with conflicting priorities</li><li>Practical approach to problem solving</li><li>Emotionally intelligent with demonstrable experience of influencing and challenging Senior Management</li></ul><p>As part of our commitment to better reflect the markets within which we operate, we encourage applications from women, ethnically diverse individuals, and people with disabilities, along with all candidates who identify with protected characteristic groups under the Equality Act 2010.</p><p>At Equans were committed to delivering a culture where everyones voice is heard and supported.
