The Opportunity
Our client, a recently spun-out organisation with a third-party spend of approximately
$150M
, is undertaking a
major cost transformation programme
running until summer 2026. Following the departure of the Procurement Director, the CEO is seeking an experienced
Interim Chief Procurement Officer (CPO)
to provide leadership expertise, and executional support during this critical period.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic procurement leadership to ensure continuity and transformation of procurement operations.
* Design and deliver procurement strategies across multiple spend categories, including technology (hardware, and software) and people.
* Operate in a hands-on capacity to drive procurement delivery in the absence of an established procurement team.
* Support the organisation in managing Technology TSA agreements and other contractual frameworks where applicable.
Candidate Profile
The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate
* A strong track record in procurement delivery across a range of categories.
* Beneficial experience within IT procurement and a solid understanding of TSA agreements, particularly in the technology space.
* A pragmatic and hands-on leadership style, able to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.
* The ability to engage effectively with senior leadership and contribute to a high-value transformation agenda.
