About The Team We Are Recruiting To
Tiverton School is a small Primary Special Needs school. We have 133 pupils on roll who come from Coventry and all have an EHC Plan of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Our pupils are at the heart of all we do.
We were graded 'Good' in our most recent OFSTED inspection.

What is the job role?
We are seeking dedicated and resilient teachers to join our happy and thriving school community.
We're looking for passionate practitioners with SEND experience, or those with a genuine desire to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils. Our students have severe and complex disabilities, including ASD, sensory processing difficulties, and associated challenging behaviours.
The majority of our pupils face complex social interaction and communication challenges. Teaching and learning focus on small groups with routines tailored to each child, incorporating signs, symbols, visuals, sensory diets, movement breaks, and personalised behaviour support strategies.
