Learning Support Assistant (SEN - ASD) Haywards Heath Start Date: After Easter Holidays Term-time only We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming 2-form entry primary school in Haywards Heath. Role Overview You will be supporting a child in Year 3 with Special Educational Needs (SEN), specifically Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The role involves working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to provide tailored support and help the child access the curriculum effectively. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCo Implement strategies to support learning, behaviour, and social development Help create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment Requirements At least 6 months' experience working with children in the UK Experience supporting children with SEN/ASD is highly desirable Patient, proactive, and nurturing approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Why Apply Through Academics / Term Time Teachers?
