The Council's Strategic Housing Service is looking to recruit a Private Sector Housing Assistant, providing support to the Private Sector Housing Officer, responsible for acquiring private owned homes to help the Council meet its duties to those at risk of homelessness.
Applicants should have a good knowledge and experience of working in the housing / property sector, excellent communication skills and experience working in a front line, customer facing role.
The role requires the ability to communicate well with a wider range of people from all sectors of the community in a persuasive way and with excellent administrative and IT skills.
The Council is operating flexible working arrangements and there will be the opportunity to work both from our Civic and service-based offices, as well as from home. The role will also require the ability to travel frequently around and beyond the district.
You will be required to work 37 hours per week with a flexible working pattern to fit business needs and work-life balance.
