Job Description
* Manage and maintain accurate records of customer accounts and outstanding receivables.
* Ensure timely collection of payments and resolve any payment discrepancies efficiently.
* Prepare and issue invoices, statements, and reminders in accordance with company policies.
* Work closely with internal departments to address and resolve account queries.
* Monitor credit limits and assess customer creditworthiness as needed.
* Generate regular reports on credit control performance for management review.
* Support the accounting and finance team with reconciliations and month-end processes.
* Adhere to company financial policies and assist in implementing best practices in credit control.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Control professional should have:
* Previous experience in credit control or a similar role within the accounting and finance sector.
* A good understanding of financial processes and credit management principles.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with clients and colleagues.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (Pivot tables and basic formulas)
