The business operates across a range of sectors including specialist concrete structures, civil engineering, remediation, demolition and enabling works. Renowned for working in highly controlled and regulated environments, the contractor has a strong track record of delivering projects within live campuses, urban settings and sensitive operational sites, working closely with clients, consultants and specialist supply chain partners. The Role An experienced Site Supervisor is required for a high-profile research laboratory project in Oxford. This role will support the site management team in overseeing day-to-day construction activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to exacting quality standards expected within a laboratory and research environment. You will play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, maintaining health & safety compliance and ensuring all activities align with client and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities * Supervising daily site activities and workforce * Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and RAMS * Coordinating subcontractors, trades and specialist contractors * Maintaining strict health, safety and environmental standards * Supporting programme delivery and resolving on-site issues * Delivering site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings * Liaising with site management, engineers, consultants and client representatives * Monitoring quality, inspections and snagging works * Maintaining accurate site records and reports Required Experience & Skills * Previous experience as a Site Supervisor within the construction industry * Experience on laboratory, healthcare, education or similarly regulated projects preferred * Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance * Ability to manage multiple work packages and subcontractors * Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills * Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving Qualifications * SSSTS or SMSTS (essential) * CSCS Card (essential) * First Aid at Work (desirable) What’s on Offer * Opportunity to work on a prestigious research laboratory project in Oxford * Long-term opportunity with a reputable specialist contractor * Competitive salary and benefits package * Professional, collaborative site environment If you are a Site Supervisor seeking a new challenge on a technically complex research or laboratory project, we welcome your application
