Position Overview:
You will play a pivotal role in our practice. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist chairside, providing exceptional patient care, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the practice. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced team and learn the latest techniques in dentistry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the dentist during procedures
Preparing and sterilising instruments
Maintaining a clean and organised treatment area. Comply with health and safety rules, including PPE, COSHH, mercury handling, infection control, waste disposal etc.
Greeting and assisting patients with a friendly and professional demeanor. Good phone manner and ability to build rapport with patients
Managing appointments and patient records
Assisting with administrative tasks as needed
Collaborating with the team to deliver the highest standard of patient care
Ability to accurately complete patient clinical records
Able to handle all substances in accordance with health and safety policies
Complete laboratory request forms, keep records of work sent, received and fitted
Ensure adequate stocks of materials and other items within the surgery
Qualifications:
Dental Nurse qualification and registration
Passion for delivering high-quality patient care
Willingness to learn and stay updated on the latest dental techniques
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to think outside the box and adapt to various situations
