Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Leeds for a Philanthropy Manager. The Philanthropy Manager will lead fundraising initiatives to develop and manage relationships with donors, trusts, and corporate partners, organizing campaigns and events to enhance philanthropic support. Responsibilities include creating and implementing donor strategies, writing compelling proposals and reports, meeting fundraising targets, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to secure charitable support for the hospice.
Qualifications
* Proven skills in donor relations, trust fundraising, and corporate partnership management
* Experience with campaign management, event planning, and fundraising strategy execution
* Strong written communication skills, including proposal and report writing
* Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage with donors and stakeholders
* Proficiency in managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and achieving fundraising targets
* Project management and organizational abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
* Passion for charitable work and an understanding of palliative care and healthcare services
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
