About the Role
This position is for a Grade 10 Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP). We also welcome applications from Progressed Social Workers (non-AMHP, Grade 9).
This is a full-time, temporary specialist post funded until March 2026. The role involves working exclusively with rough sleepers experiencing mental health issues, with broad referral criteria, including self-referrals through drop-in sessions.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified AMHP or Progressed Social Worker
* Passionate about improving outcomes for adults
* Ability to establish trusting relationships with complex customers
* Experience in mental health assessments, Care Act assessments, and support plan development
* Experience managing high-risk, complex cases and safeguarding adults
* Understanding of relevant legislation and multi-disciplinary working
* Ability to communicate effectively and work autonomously
* Enhanced DBS check and Adults Barred List clearance (essential)
