Overview
About the Role:
* Provide high standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children
* Safeguard and promote the welfare and safety of all children in your care
* Create an enabling and stimulating environment where children can learn and develop
* Build strong relationships with families, parents, and carers to support children’s learning journey
* Keep accurate records, learning journals, and reports up to date and share progress with parents
* Collaborate with colleagues, local authorities, and external agencies to ensure best practice
* Contribute to team meetings, training, and the continuous improvement of provision
* Ensure high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety throughout the nursery
* Support mealtimes and care routines, ensuring they are safe, positive, and inclusive experiences
Role Details
* Location: North London
* Contract: Permanent, full-time
* Start Date: ASAP or negotiable for the right candidate
* Salary: Competitive, with Real Living Wage minimum (£13.15/hour in London) and 11% employer pension contributions
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
* Right to work in the UK
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection, with confidence in acting appropriately when concerns arise
* A reflective, creative, and enthusiastic practitioner who can bring energy to the role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
* A genuine passion for early childhood education and commitment to high-quality care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
