Sous Chef - Didcot

Monday - Friday 6am - 2.30pm or 7am - 3.30pm, some evenings as required

40 hours per week

£31,320 per annum, Discounted travel

A trade test will be required for this role

Are you a talented and enthusiastic Sous Chef looking to showcase your skills and creativity? Join our dedicated catering team in Didcot where you’ll craft exceptional dishes using the finest and freshest ingredients. This is your opportunity to make an impact in a role that balances culinary passion with career development, all within the UK’s leading food service company.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence

* Prepare delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers

* Identify opportunities to improve food service standards

* Create a positive and supportive kitchen environment

* Support the team in delivering high-quality food concepts

* Represent Compass Group UK & Ireland and maintain a positive brand image

* Assist with food ordering, stock control, and food waste management

* Oversee kitchen cleaning to maintain high hygiene standards

* Support budget management and achieve financial targets

* Ensure compliance with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations
