About the Role We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Assistant to join our team in Shipley. This is a full-time, office-based role supporting purchasing and procurement activities within a manufacturing and engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background and be comfortable working closely with engineers, suppliers, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities * Raising and processing purchase orders * Liaising with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and deliveries * Supporting purchasing activities within a manufacturing environment * Maintaining accurate records and purchasing documentation * Assisting with stock control and order tracking * Resolving delivery and invoice queries * Providing general administrative support to the purchasing and engineering teams Skills & Experience Required * Previous experience in manufacturing/administration is essential * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail * Confident communicator, both written and verbal * Comfortable using Microsoft Office and purchasing systems * Reliable, proactive, and able to work as part of a team What We Offer * Subsidised Canteen * Stable, full-time office-based role * Friendly and supportive working environment * Early finish on Fridays * Opportunity to work within an established manufacturing business INDEC
