Operational Migration Manager
The Operational Migration Manager will lead the strategic migration of Wolters Kluwer TAA UK's legacy on‑premise software suite to the next‑generation cloud platform. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth, scalable, and customer‑centric transition, reducing churn risk, unlocking cloud benefits, and accelerating revenue realization.
Key Responsibilities
* Migration Strategy & Execution: Develop and lead a repeatable, scalable migration framework across customer segments; define migration phases, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria; serve as project lead for top‑tier customer migrations; own customer communications and interactions for migrations outside the top 10.
* Cross‑functional Coordination: Align and coordinate across product, engineering, professional services, support, marketing, and content teams; ensure clear governance and visibility across all workstreams; report progress periodically to the Regional Leadership Team (RLT).
* Customer Engagement: Act as the central point of contact for customers during migration; build confidence and streamline communications on migration progress.
* Commercial & Analytical Support: Support commercial and marketing teams during product rollout; define and report key metrics to track migration success.
* Enable faster adoption of cloud solutions and realization of revenue.
* Reduce technical debt and operational inefficiencies.
* Support upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
* Align with the UK's digital transformation roadmap.
Qualifications
* Master's degree (BA/BS) preferred or equivalent experience.
* Fluent in English.
* Accountancy or practice experience highly desirable.
* Strong project management methodology and execution skills.
* Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and secure stakeholder buy‑in.
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
* Demonstrated leadership and credibility in driving complex projects.
