Job Description:
Coopman Search and Selection is partnering with an award-winning compliance and regulatory consultancy providing expert advice and products to financial institutions. This role is within a team supporting clients in UK Payment Services.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide support to clients on UK Payment Services legislation and regulations, including license applications, gap analyses, and compliance framework implementation.
* Maintain knowledge of PSD2, Payment Services Regulations 2017, and Electronic Money Regulations 2017.
* Attend industry events, share insights, and create content to enhance the firm’s brand.
* Support coaching and development of junior team members.
* Build and maintain trusted client relationships.
* Adapt to new services and support the Partner in service delivery.
Experience required:
* Relevant regulatory experience in a consultancy, payments firm, or EMI, with strong knowledge of Payments Services and Electronic Money Regulations. Financial Crime or AML background is not required.
* Ability to analyze data, conduct gap analyses, assessments, and communicate findings effectively.
* Recent experience leading teams in a similar role.
* Strong attention to detail and timely project completion.
* Commercial awareness to align services with business objectives.
* Ability to manage multiple projects independently and in teams.
