🕒 Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-Time (Job share considered)
📅 Start Dates:
* 1st Pharmacy Tech – 2 June 2025
* 2nd Pharmacy Tech – 9 June 2025
* 📄 Contract Duration: 6 months (June – November 2025)
* 💰 Pay: Competitive hourly rate
A24 Locums is currently recruiting 2 x Band 6 Pharmacy Technicians for a rewarding role based in Westcliff-On-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting patients in admissions, wards, and the emergency department.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting pharmacy services across wards, admissions, and ED
* Reviewing and dispensing medications
* Completing prescriptions on e-prescribing systems
* Reviewing patient notes via Careflow
* Stock checking using TMJ Insight
* Supporting the patient flow in urgent care settings
🎓 Requirements:
* MUST be ACT qualified – reflected on CV or with certificate
* MUST have hospital pharmacy experience
* Must hold personal indemnity insurance
* Ability to complete 15 hours of pre-shift e-learning training (Paid at £30/hour)
* Participation in an onsite induction and orientation on your first day
🕗 Shift Details:
* Monday to Friday only (No weekends)
* Shifts between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* Staff may rotate across shift patterns
