MG OMD is seeking a confident Data Solutions Manager to work with different teams across the business and deliver the optimum outcome for clients. The successful candidate will work across various accounts, including Specsavers, John Lewis Partnership, British Airways, GiffGaff, Virgin Media, and O2.
The ideal candidate will be an innovative, forward-thinking person who thrives in a diverse culture and contributes to MGOMD’s success by developing best-in-class data solutions for clients. They must be highly organized, demonstrate proficiency in technical problem-solving, and be able to run multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the onboarding of new clients and projects in a standardized way, ensuring efficient and quality-driven data solutions.
* Work with stakeholders to identify and implement continuous improvement in data management for MG.
* Define and create documentation and training requirements for changes in policies, data flows, or data requirements.
* Collaborate with Data SMEs to ensure compliance with standards and procedures, control, and audit for all Data Governance responsibilities.
* Act as a liaison between SMEs, end-users, and those involved in the data journey to resolve issues and meet objectives.
* Support the implementation of data pipelines and own data integration projects.
* Ensure the quality of data points is maintained and automatically governed, with monitoring in place to highlight data quality issues.
* Be committed to constantly learning and honing their craft.
* Assist with data culture initiatives and support raising awareness about data best practices across the business.
Requirements:
* Data management: Proficiency in data management concepts, including data governance, data quality, data integration, and data lifecycle management.
* Project management: Proven track record of successfully managing multiple data projects simultaneously from initiation to delivery, with effective task prioritization.
* Technical proficiency: Solid understanding of data technologies, including databases, data warehousing solutions, ETL tools, and cloud platforms.
