Hours: 40 per week


About the Role:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Delivery Station Manager to oversee our last-mile delivery processes, being responsible for driving team performance, and ensuring operational efficiency.


This position is ideal for someone who possesses strong leadership skills and has proven track record in management, ensuring that all team members work efficiently to meet our organisational goals.

Responsibilities:


* Overseeing day-to-day delivery station operations, including planning, resource allocation, and execution of last-mile deliveries.
* Leading, motivating and managing a high-performing team through effective recruitment, training, and performance management.
* Conducting daily team briefings to align staff with targets and reinforce company values.
* Ensuring adequate staffing and resource levels to meet changing operational demands.
* Promoting a positive and collaborative workplace culture focused on accountability and development.
* Establish a responsibility-oriented team culture and promote continuous improvement
* Monitor core operational indicators, formulate improvement plans to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
* Monitoring operational KPIs and implement improvements to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.
* Resolving service issues promptly to ensure smooth delivery operations.
* Maintaining compliance with all safety, security, and quality standards.


Qualifications:


* Experience in Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or related discipline.
* 3+ years’ experience in logistics or warehouse operations, ideally with last-mile delivery.


Required Skills:


* Proven ability to lead and develop diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and coaching skills.
* Skilled in data-driven operations, proficient in logistics systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office software
* Excellent cross-departmental collaboration and problem-solving skill
* Data-driven mindset with experience using KPIs to guide decisions.
* Proficient in logistics systems and Microsoft Office tools.


Preferred Skills:


* Knowledge of last minute mile delivery operations.
* Background in e-commerce, courier, or delivery service operations.
* Familiarity with delivery management platforms and routing optimisation tools.
