About the Role
As a Teaching & Coaching Professional Tutor, you will support apprentices working towards the Level 5 Coaching Professional Apprenticeship. You’ll plan and deliver training, provide assessments and feedback, and act as a mentor to help each learner achieve their qualification and reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out initial assessments and create tailored training plans.
* Deliver engaging training sessions online and face-to-face, aligned to apprenticeship standards.
* Provide tutorial support in areas such as safeguarding, Prevent, and British Values.
* Assess learner progress, providing constructive feedback and preparing them for EPA.
* Support learners with Maths and English where needed, in collaboration with specialists.
* Maintain accurate progress records and ensure compliance requirements are met.
* Build effective relationships with employers to enhance workplace learning.
* Identify and support any Additional Learning Support (ALS) needs.
* Contribute to CPD activities and standardisation meetings to keep up to date with best practice.
* Promote awareness of mental health, online safety, and careers guidance as part of the learner journey.
About You
Essential:
* A recognised teaching qualification (ideally Level 5 or equivalent).
* Strong background as a Lead Teacher or Senior Education Leader within Early Years
* Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
* Understanding of apprenticeship delivery and experience supporting diverse learners.
* Confidence in working with employers to support apprenticeship programmes.
* Good IT skills, including use of ePortfolios.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
Desirable:
* Level 5 Coaching Professional qualification (or equivalent).
* Assessor, teaching, or IQA qualifications.
