Youth Support Worker

The salary shown is the Full Time equivalent and will be calculated pro-rata.

As a Youth Support Workers you will deliver sessions for young people aged 9-19 years old at 3 Richmond Youth Centres, Ham Youth Centre, Whitton Youth Zone and Powerstation Youth Centre in Mortlake.

We are hiring a number of Youth Support Workers to:

1x 6 hour post at Ham Youth Centre, TW10 7PL

1x 6 hour post at Whitton Youth Zone, TW2 7JX

1x 3 hours at Powerstation Youth Centre, SW14 8SN

The Youth Service provides support, information, advice, guidance and activities to support the social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development of young people aged 9 - 19 years old. The Youth Service is a universal service which uses befriending and activities as a means to build long lasting positive and supportive relationships.

About the role

As a Youth Support Worker will be required to effectively:

2. Provide support, advice and guidance to young people aged 9 - 19 years old
3. Oversee positive, developmental and diversionary activities during the youth sessions
4. Support the Lead Youth Worker with duties that improve the youth provision

If you are an individual who relates well to young people and are passionate about wanting to help and support them on their journey to adulthood, please apply.
