I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a top client of Build Space to join a leading design team working on exciting projects.
With projects across the M4 corridor, including life sciences/pharmaceuticals, logistics parks, and data centres, this is a great opportunity to join an established yet growing business and make a significant impact in the sector.
Design Manager Responsibilities:
* Support the Design team on projects across various sectors including Commercial, Life Sciences/Pharma, and Industrial & Logistics.
* Contribute to design input during both preconstruction and construction phases.
* Prepare design programmes, scopes, responsibility matrices, appointments, and schedules.
* Attend and chair meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
* Ability to manage projects and deliver quality work on time and within budget.
* Experience in managing construction schemes of £10m or more.
* Relevant design or equivalent qualification.
