Role: Portfolio Planning and Performance Manager
Rate: Up to £650 per day (Outside IR35)
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Leeds (Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
I am currently recruiting a fantastic role for a highly regarded organisation who are embarking on a large transformation programme. As such they are looking to engage an experience Portfolio Planning and Performance Manager who can play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of the transformation portfolio is a success.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Change function in driving the corporate strategy, enhancing business performance, guiding teams in line with our desired culture, and delivering key strategic objectives.
* Promote a robust culture of constructive challenge where necessary, ensuring adherence to business processes and the maintenance of accurate data across the organisation.
* Play an active role in developing resource management capabilities within both the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) and the wider business.
* Provide valuable insight and decision points to MPS forums, supporting well-informed decision-making and ensuring the business remains within its risk appetite.
* Oversee the delivery of change initiatives, managing implementation projects, effectively communicating and advocating for change across the department, and facilitating smooth transitions to new operating models.
Required Skills/Experience
* Demonstrated experience in delivering strategic planning and advisory support to Executive Management in the areas of corporate strategy, planning, and project execution.
* A background in business strategy, corporate planning, and the design and implementation of performance management frameworks, particularly the Balanced Scorecard approach.
* Proven expertise in project management and managing organisational change.
* Experience with performance management tools or platforms.
* A strong capability in enhancing performance management systems that underpin the operation of the broader Performance Management Framework and reporting functions.
