The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Senior Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Process Engineer located in Berkeley, MO. Boeing will produce the world’s first sixth-generation fighter jet at our facility in St. Louis. This program adds to the legacy of defense products including F-15, F/A-18, T-7, and Q-25.
The selected candidate will work with Systems, Design, Process, and Manufacturing Engineers to support BDS Air Dominance programs. The role involves ensuring that Product Data Management (PDM) systems meet customer requirements and are upgraded to improve processes and workflows.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide process and application support for BDS Air Dominance at the Boeing – St. Louis site, supporting multiple engineering disciplines’ use of Teamcenter and other engineering tools.
This role offers an opportunity to develop expertise in Engineering and Digital Engineering Processes, with potential to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Technical Lead Engineer (TLE).
Position Responsibilities:
* Resolve issues related to Teamcenter and engineering applications with Program Engineers.
* Support engineering data delivery to suppliers and customers.
* Implement model-based engineering requirements using PDM tools in collaboration with Systems Engineering teams.
* Define and align digital data and model management requirements across teams.
* Analyze engineering data for issues and ensure data consistency.
* Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel, including suppliers and customers.
* Work independently and within a team environment.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite at the listed location. Travel up to 10% may be required, domestic and/or international. U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, including an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start. Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance is also required.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* 10+ years of relevant technical experience in engineering, IT, or software.
* Experience leading diverse teams or projects to meet objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with PLM or PDM systems.
* Experience with IT/software development, databases, and cloud networks.
* Experience with tool and process development.
* Active Secret Clearance within the last 24 months.
Typically, this role requires 14+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Relocation assistance is available based on eligibility. The role offers a total compensation range of $135,150 - $182,850. Applications are accepted until Jul. 09, 2025.
