Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the school curriculum and schemes of work. Assess, monitor, and report on pupils’ learning needs, progress, and achievements. Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse strengths and needs of all pupils. Promote and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, supporting safeguarding and pupil wellbeing. Support and contribute to the wider life of the school, including school events, initiatives, and community engagement. Qualifications and Experience Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience in teaching junior-aged children, with a strong understanding of effective teaching, planning, and assessment. Proven ability to support inclusion and promote positive behaviour in the classroom. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to pupil welfare. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with families and colleagues. Desirable Qualities A collaborative team player with a positive and flexible approach. Safeguarding This post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018. The Trust will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision.
