Location: Bournemouth, office based
Pay: £35,000 - £45,000 with performance based bonuses
Blue Skies Lifestyle Ltd is a family-run, online luxury travel agency encompassing 4 brands. Ski In Luxury is our largest brand and renowned for being the best luxury ski chalet agency worldwide. As well as ski and mountain holidays, we also have a luxury villa rental website, offering year round luxury holidays to our clients.
Our incredible team all share a passion for the mountains and luxury travel. Whether we're delivering first-class service to clients, developing our portfolio, writing about our favourite resorts or experiencing the properties ourselves, the variety in the role ensures no day is the same.
The Role
The Sales Manager at Blue Skies Lifestyle is a key, hands on leadership role within the company, driving sales performance and upholding the company’s high standards of service. We are looking for an experienced leader to manage a dedicated sales team, offering fresh ideas, whilst providing the structure, oversight and support they need to succeed.. This includes overseeing their performance, training and development, guiding sales strategy, and acting as the senior escalation point for clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of talented and passionate Sales Consultants
Managing high-value and repeat client relationships personally
Monitoring sales targets, conversion rates, and team KPI’s
Coaching and developing your team through structured training and regular reviews
Representing the brand at luxury travel industry events, trade shows, and property visits
Collaborating with Directors on sales strategy and business development
Upholding and enhancing the company’s reputation for professionalism and passion
Support the Directors with recruitment and onboarding of new team members
What We Are Looking For
Natural leader who is ready to be hands on, visible and lead from the front
A love and passion for high end luxury travel and skiing
Proven experience in managing, motivating and developing a sales team, ideally in luxury travel
Calm under pressure, highly organised, and capable of juggling multiple priorities
Outstanding client relationship management skills, especially with high-net-worth individuals
Ability to understand and act on sales data
A proven track record of reaching and exceeding targets in a sales environment
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational abilities
A proactive, reliable and punctual team player who is ready to hit the ground running
Additional Information
This role is office-based and will require occasional flexibility in working hours to handle urgent client matters. Occasional travel to ski resorts and luxury villas for business development is part of the excitement!
