Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging English lessons to post-16 learners (GCSE and Functional Skills)
* Plan, assess and record progress in line with college policies and exam board requirements
* Support learners to build confidence and achieve their literacy goals
* Provide feedback, guidance, and tailored learning support
* Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
* Promote safeguarding, inclusion, and wellbeing across the college
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTLS or equivalent)
* Strong subject knowledge of English Language curriculum
* Experience teaching English in an FE or secondary setting
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Passionate about helping every learner achieve their potential
