Amour Recruitment is seeking a Billing Analyst to work for a fantastic company based in Portsmouth.
This role is offered as hybrid, but you must be in a commutable distance to the office if you need to go in at short notice.
Working with the Delivery & Operations team, the core purpose is to ensure accurate and timely billing for services-related projects and to manage purchase order (PO) creation for passthrough projects and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the billing process for multiple business areas
2. Create new projects/orders, process invoices, and close them when complete.
3. Keep the Billing Tracker up to date with all invoices and purchase orders.
4. Send invoices to customers directly or upload them to platforms
5. Work with Credit Control to manage remittance advices and resolve billing queries.
6. Raise purchase orders (POs) for passthrough projects and contractors.
7. Maintain and update process documentation to ensure continuity and compliance.
Personal requirements:
8. Good attention to detail
9. Strong IT skills- in particular Excel.
10. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to maintain complete and accurate records
11. Excellent oral and written communication skills
Hours: Monday to Friday 0900-1730
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 – 25 days holiday, great pension scheme, health care plus much more!
