Following solid regional growth over the last 18 months, the firm is now looking to appoint a New Business Underwriter to focus on broker growth - creating space to keep moving forward and capture new opportunities.
The role:
* Underwrite new specialty commercial combined business from brokers
* Build and strengthen broker relationships, supported by strong capacity and appetite to trade
* Work closely with the sales team to identify and secure new agency appointments
* Contribute to regional plans and have input into underwriting approach and development
* Operate fully remotely, with flexibility to meet brokers face-to-face where it adds value
What you’ll bring:
* Solid underwriting background in commercial combined or specialty risks
* Confidence and judgement in trading directly with brokers to write balanced, profitable business
