Our client, established for over 30 years and a global leader in high-quality special purpose infrastructure solutions, is seeking an Operations Director to enhance business operations, coordinate team integration, and support strategic growth.
The role involves shaping and improving processes within the operations department, including asset management, transport, warehouse operations, and project management. Key responsibilities include:
* Mentoring and motivating teams to achieve productivity and engagement.
* Building relationships with department heads to align operational activities with strategic goals.
* Fostering interdepartmental collaboration through effective resource planning.
* Analyzing operational performance and recommending improvements.
* Implementing strategic initiatives for efficiency and productivity.
* Collaborating on financial and budget planning with department heads.
* Evaluating risks, leading quality assurance, and ensuring H&S compliance.
* Assisting in developing a suitable ERP system at the group level.
* Monitoring and recommending KPIs for operational departments.
* Reporting on performance, efficiencies, and challenges to Directors monthly.
Candidates should have at least 5 years' senior operational leadership experience managing diverse teams across multiple locations. Exceptional organizational, leadership, data analytics, and reporting skills are essential, along with strong problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and financial planning abilities.
