Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Bristol-area
Salary: Up to 45,000 p/a (DOE)
Full-Time Permanent
Carbon60 have partnered with leading manufacturing client in the Bristol area who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing new mechanical products and improving existing ones
* Creating bespoke solutions for customer-specific requirements
* Managing engineering projects from concept to completion
* Producing technical drawings and conducting FEA analysis
* Preparing reports and maintaining compliance documentation
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams across the business
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
* 3+ years' experience in a similar role
* Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD systems
* Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Experience with aluminium structures (preferred)
* ERP system knowledge and commercial awareness
