Are you a Paralegal or Newly Qualified Solicitor with a passion for criminal defence and Crown Court work? Our client, a well-respected law firm with extensive experience in criminal litigation, is seeking a Crown Court Caseworker to support their Crown Court Litigator.
About the Role:
1. Assist the Crown Court Litigator in case preparation, managing complex files from police station through trial.
2. Draft legal documents, including statements, disclosure requests, and correspondence.
3. Liaise with counsel, clients, witnesses, and courts.
4. Conduct research and assist in developing legal strategy.
5. Gain exposure to serious and complex criminal cases and develop advocacy skills.
About You:
6. Paralegal experience in criminal law or a newly qualified solicitor.
7. Strong communication, organisation, and research skills.
8. Motivated to develop your career in Crown Court litigation.
9. Confident using Word, Excel, and other legal software.
