About The Role
The Harley Street Clinic, part of HCA Healthcare UK, is seeking a dedicated Resident Doctor in Oncology to join our Oncology Unit, delivering high-quality, patient-centred cancer care within one of London’s most respected private oncology services.
In this role, you will support the safe, effective, and compassionate delivery of oncology care, working closely with Consultant Oncologists and the wider multidisciplinary team. You will play a vital role in patient assessment, ongoing clinical review, and the management of treatment-related issues, ensuring excellent continuity of care throughout the patient journey.

While we are a Consultant Led Service, we believe in empowering our Resident Doctors, so your role could become expand as much as you wish. You’ll have the chance to be involved in audits, projects and quality improvement initiatives alongside the opportunity to join a variety of internal networks. This could be to help steer the services you deliver, speaking up or patient satisfaction focus groups, clinical governance or MDT meetings. Duties
* Provide day-to-day inpatient medical management, including clerking planned and unplanned admissions, undertaking daily ward rounds, and leading on routine clinical reviews.
* Manage acutely unwell patients, respond to medical emergencies and contribute to end-of-life care as required.
* Support continuity of care across both inpatient and outpatient pathways in partnership with our established multidisciplinary team.
* Direct, close working relationships with internationally recognised Haematology and Oncology Consultants and Professors.
* A supportive clinical environment with dedicated HCA-employed Resident Doctors and clear clinical governance structures.
What You’ll Bring
* GMC Registration and License to Practice in the UK
* Completed Foundation Years training and additionally at minimum IMT-2 or Core Medical Training (CM2) / equivalent experience.
* At least 2 years' experience in Oncology.
* Full MRCP required.
* A passion for teamwork, patient-focused care with the ability to build and share best practice and offer a first-class patient experience.
* Desire to develop within the role, as our cancer services grow.
