An exciting vacancy has arisen within their Engineering team, for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician, with an Electrical bias. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the main purpose of this role is to support with planned maintenance and corrective activities. As a Maintenance Technician, you will : Maintain and find fault with a wide variety of automated industrial plant and process equipment including stainless steel fabrication, CNC/Robotic machinery, metal forming/press tool machinery, assembly plant, powder coating paint plant etc. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required : Completion of a recognisable apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical engineering is essential Hydraulic Pneumatic experience desirable Proven mechanical fitting experience in an industrial maintenance engineering environment. Able to read and follow mechanical / electrical drawings. Minimum of a Level 3 Electrical Apprenticeship Competent with bench and machine fitting. A proven working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Competent with lifting/slinging. Capable of working unsupervised when - alone or as part of the team. PC literate. Basic welding competence (preferable but not essential). FLT driving license/experience (preferable but not essential). IPAF license to drive MEWP's i.e. scissor/boom lifts (preferable but not essential) Current driving licence. Optional overtime can be available at the weekend, paid at time and a half. This is a direct permanent role.
