About The Women's Team
Our team is committed to fostering a supportive environment that empowers female athletes to showcase their skills and reach their full potential. The SAFC Womens Football Team benefits from strong collaboration with our Coaching and Analysis teams, ensuring that our strategies and training sessions are informed by the latest insights and best practices.
The Opportunity
This role provides daily support with all aspects of kit and equipment for womens team players, coaches, and staff. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the organisation, transportation, and laundering of all kit, ensuring that players and staff have the appropriate clothing and equipment available whenever required.
Working primarily with the womens first team, while also supporting the womens Under-21 team, the role requires careful coordination of club apparel and kit for training, travel, and match days, tailored to club requirements and player preferences. A key part of the role is to ensure every player has the correct personalised items, with kit distribution managed in a controlled and accountable way that aligns with budget requirements.
Maintaining accurate records of stock levels is essential, alongside carrying out regular stock checks to monitor training and match kit supplies. The provision of a first-class laundry service is central to the position, including washing, drying, ironing, and storing kits efficiently so they are always ready when needed. All equipment must be kept clean, well maintained, and in good working order, while the kit room must be organised, tidy, and professionally presented at all times.
Attention to detail is crucial, particularly in adhering to washing guidelines, operating machinery safely and in line with policy, and ensuring that all kit complies with club, league, and sponsor branding requirements. The role also involves preparing for forecasted weather conditions, managing kit for preseason tours, and overseeing packing and shipping as necessary.
On match days, the successful candidate will be responsible for setting up players lockers with the correct kit both at home and away fixtures, as well as applying appropriate personalisation to kit and training wear. They will also ensure footballs are correctly branded and maintained, with tools, accessories, and additional items such as replacement studs readily available.
What We Ask For
Ensures all kit is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, ready for training and match day requirements.
You will be required to obtain an Enhanced DBS through SAFC.
