Residential Children’s Home Registered Manager (Maternity cover, 12 month fixed term contract) Salary: £42,624 - £45,793 depending on skills and experience. Hours: 37 hours per week Based: Sheringham, Norfolk Golden hello payment £2,500 payable after the first full month of employment, a further £5,000 payable upon completion of the contract. (Not available to candidates referred by recruitment agencies and subject to conditions) For candidates referred by recruitment agencies – £1,250 payable after the first full month of employment, a further £2,500 payable upon completion of the contract. (subject to conditions) As the Registered Manager of a Break Children's Home you will: Join the experienced Care Management Team, alongside twelve other service managers. Use your experience combined with Break’s model to lead a team which encourages children to develop a positive sense of self and ensure that professional standards are maintained to a high level. Collaborate with Break’s Therapeutic team, who provide two days a week of therapeutic support, including advice and practical tools, to support your team to provide trauma-informed nurturing care for each child. Provide effective support to staff, including advice and guidance, reflective supervision and annual appraisal. You will be able to guide your team's development using Break's extensive specialist workforce training programs. Work in partnership with young people, their family and friends, colleagues, and other agencies to achieve the best outcomes for each child in your care. Work collaboratively with Break's Staying Connected service for a smooth transition when a young person leaves care, benefiting from in-house support and Break's lifelong offer.
