Your new role
As a Sales & Design Consultant, you'll be at the heart of the showroom operation in Bangor, working to deliver exceptional customer experiences whilst driving sales of bathroom and related products. You'll be responsible for generating sales to both trade and retail customers, achieving budgeted targets, and maintaining excellent margin performance. Your role will involve creating designs using CAD software, managing quotations, following up on leads including self-builds and development opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers. You'll also take ownership of the showroom presentation, ensuring displays are merchandised to the highest standards and conducting daily checks to maintain excellence. Working closely with the Showroom Manager, you'll manage turnkey projects from concept topletion, identify opportunities for sales growth, and contribute ideas for promotions and improvements.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths, along with proven experience working in a showroom sales environment. Demonstrable knowledge of bathroom products and their applications is essential, as is experience dealing with both trade and retail customers in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. You must have a track record of exceeding sales and margin targets and be skilled in building strong customer partnerships. Experience withputerised quotation and order-taking systems is required. Desirably, you'll have experience with CAD design packages. Beyond technical skills, you'll be a confidentmunicator with a professional appearance, able to work flexibly outside normal hours when necessary. You'll demonstrate emotional resilience, strong time management, adaptability to change, and amitment to continuous improvement. A high degree of integrity and alignment withpany values is essential, along with the ability to identify opportunities and respond proactively to improve performance.
