From eco-friendly initiatives to community engagement programs, we strive to make a positive impact on both the environment and the lives of those around us. ​ What we are looking for We’re looking for a dynamic Digital Marketing Executive to join our creative and collaborative Marketing Campaigns team at Ascot Racecourse. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic marketer to contribute to one of the world’s most prestigious sporting venues, working across a diverse mix of campaigns covering racedays, hospitality, memberships, events and partnerships. ​ You’ll be responsible for supporting and delivering digital marketing activity across owned channels, with a particular focus on email marketing, website and app updates, as well as audience growth and customer journey optimisation. Working alongside another Digital Marketing Executive and the Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll play an important role in driving audience engagement, enhancing the digital customer experience, and contributing to the overall success of Ascot’s commercial and brand objectives. ​ This would be a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, collaborative marketer who has proven experience at either Marketing Assistant or Executive level, or experience in relevant marketing-related internships, to elevate their experience and join a passionate and supportive team at an exciting time of growth. ​ ​ What you’ll be doing Plan, create and deliver engaging email and SMS communications across a range of commercial areas including racedays, hospitality, memberships and partnerships. Maintain and create content across Ascot’s digital platforms, ensuring the website, e-commerce areas and the Ascot App are always accurate, up to date and optimised for user experience. Support the growth of Ascot’s digital audiences, contributing to data acquisition initiatives, audience segmentation and targeted campaign planning. Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing activity, providing actionable insights and recommendations to the wider Marketing Campaigns team and key business stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns, with involvement in SEO, customer journeys, e-CRM, paid media and content marketing. Ensure all digital content and communications consistently reflect Ascot’s brand values, tone of voice and visual identity. Stay informed about the latest digital marketing trends, platform developments and best practices to help evolve Ascot’s digital strategy. ​ Skills and experience you can bring A genuine passion for digital marketing and an understanding of marketing communications, customer experience and brand management. Hands-on experience in delivering email marketing campaigns using email management platforms (e.g. Dotdigital, Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar). Experience using content management systems (CMS) to publish and update website and/or app content. An interest in customer data management, audience segmentation and campaign reporting. A basic or good grasp of analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Looker Studio or similar) is advantageous. Creative flair combined with strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with stakeholders at different levels. Knowledge of digital marketing channels including e-CRM, SEO, social media, paid advertising and digital customer journeys.
