The successful candidate will guide an established DevOps function, supporting a highly skilled development team with best-in-class tooling, scalable infrastructure, and a culture of continuous improvement. The Role
* Take ownership of scaling and maintaining a secure, multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure running on AWS and Kubernetes
* Mentor and develop a small, capable team of DevOps engineers, championing professional growth and feedback
* Ensure infrastructure decisions are aligned with wider business goals, while enabling rapid deployment cycles
* Lead by example on technical work, applying rigour and pragmatism to system design and change management
* Help shape and drive internal DevOps practices, collaborating closely with engineering, product, and business teams
* Continuously improve reliability and observability, proactively addressing performance and security issues
* Foster autonomy within the team through clear communication and a strong shared sense of purpose
The Person
* Proven experience leading a DevOps or platform engineering team within a fast-paced environment
* Strong working knowledge of AWS (e.g. VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, EKS) and Kubernetes in production settings
* Hands-on experience supporting and deploying large-scale SaaS applications
* Familiarity with security, compliance, and scalability concerns in cloud environments
* A proactive mindset when it comes to infrastructure monitoring, incident response, and continuous delivery
* Ability to collaborate across departments to drive technical and operational excellence
* Infrastructure-as-code expertise with Terraform
