As an Assistant manager we want you to play a key role in the running of our day-to-day operations. This means you’ll work closely with the general manager to maintain high standards of food, drink and hospitality. Our managers take a proactive approach to team management, helping them to thrive, develop and deliver keeping morale high and turnover low. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on the business and develop in post. Never done it before? Key Responsibilities
* Everybody good time: Motivate, train, and manage a team, ensuring that the guests get the best experience we can offer and that staff enjoy their time on shift.
* Eye of the tiger: Oversee daily operations including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and ensuring the restaurant is neat and welcoming to guests.
* Everybody welcome: Deliver a memorable experience to our guests by offering hospitality over service and creating an experience that people will remember.
* Too much spicy: Support the management team in implementing new initiatives, promotions, and training programs.
No Beef: work with the wider industry to help build community in and around the city.
* Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
* Sales & Financial Management: Assist with managing budgets, cost control, and achieving sales targets.
* Staff Scheduling: Help create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage while maintaining team morale.
