The Role:
We are seeking a Head of Commercial to join the business in a highly pivotal role. This is a strategic sales-focused position within a 4PL environment, offering significant scope to progress into a directorship role. You will lead the commercial strategy, driving revenue growth while building and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive New Business Revenue and identify growth opportunities across existing and new markets.
Manage Key Accounts, maximizing share of wallet and strengthening client relationships.
Oversee Pipeline Management, ensuring commercial targets are met and exceeded.
Lead Team Development & Training, coaching and mentoring staff to reach their potential.
Provide strong Leadership & Management, influencing company strategy and operational delivery.
The Candidate:
Proven experience in strategic sales and commercial leadership, ideally within freight, logistics, or 4PL environments.
Strong track record of business development, key account management, and revenue growth .
Exceptional leadership and team development skills, capable of motivating and inspiring staff.
Commercially astute with the ability to influence stakeholders and shape business strategy.
