The mission: The Social Media and Thought Leadership Communications Manager will play a crucial role in elevating the digital presence and thought leadership initiatives of a key executive. You will be responsible for managing the personal social media accounts for the executive, crafting engaging content, and developing strategies to enhance their online presence. Additionally, the role will involve supporting the executive in thought leadership engagements at industry events, ensuring their messaging aligns with Schneider Electric's strategic objectives. Responsibilities: Manage and curate content for the executive's personal social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms. Develop and execute social media strategies to increase the executive's visibility and thought leadership within the industry. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather insights, updates, and relevant information for social media posts and thought leadership content. Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Coordinate with the marketing and communications team to align social media efforts with broader brand and marketing initiatives. Support preparation for thought leadership engagements, including researching topics, drafting speeches, and creating presentation materials. Attend industry events to provide on-site support and ensure seamless execution of thought leadership initiatives. Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in social media and thought leadership. Skills: 5-7 years proven experience managing social media accounts for senior executives or high-profile individuals. Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices. Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content tailored to different audiences. Experience in thought leadership development, including content creation and event support. Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Fluency in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
