Your Newpany:We are recruiting an Administrator to work at HMP Stocken expected to be ongoing for the next few months. This is a long-term temporary contract offering sociable, full-time hours.
Your new role:As an Administrator, you'll be involved in a wide range of tasks crucial to our daily operations.
Your responsibilities will typically include:
1. Office Management: Managing general office duties such as handling iing calls, managing correspondence (emails and post), and maintaining office supplies and equipment.
2. Data & Record Keeping: Accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining various databases, records, and filing systems (both digital and physical).
3. Document Preparation: Creating, formatting, and editing a variety of documents, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Scheduling & Coordination: Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and arranging travel logistics as required.
5. Support & Assistance: Providing direct administrative support to specific departments or team members, assisting with projects, and undertaking other ad-hoc duties as needed.
Financial Administration (Optional, depending on role): Processing invoices, managing petty cash, or assisting with basic financial record-keeping.

Any and all training will be provided for you on site when you start. Therefore, previous experience in the role is not necessary.All applicants who are interested in the position must pass Prison Clearance, which can take up to 8 weeks or more. You will need a passport or photo driving licence to apply for clearance. Once passed, this is valid for 5 years and can be transferred to any other prisons of a similar category.
