Progressive Audit Manager role with a highly regarded Chartered Accountancy firm which will provide you with exciting opportunities for personal growth and career engagement. You will join a team which predominately undertakes audit and other assurance work on behalf of their clients, but you will also be responsible for accounts preparation and tax computations too, so a diverse role. You will get exposure to an eclectic range of organisations (some AIM listed), including those in the technology, professional services and not-for-profit sectors, to name a few.
Key responsibilities:
1. Overseeing your own portfolio of clients, to include workforce planning, management of WIP and billing
2. Delegating audit and accounts tasks, plus some tax compliance work, to the team and reviewing completed files ready for final review by the RI
3. Providing feedback to junior and senior team members of the team on the quality of their work and performance
4. Building and further developing relationships with existing and new clients
5. Undertaking business development, such as attending networking and marketing events
6. Meeting clients to pitch and tender for new work and putting together associated documents
7. Supporting team with wider responsibilities e.g. interviewing, marketing
What experience do I need?
