Account Broker
Location: Manchester / Halifax (On-site)
Our Xenia offices in Manchester & Halifax are experiencing significant growth and are seeking to strengthen their experienced team with an Account Broker and Account Manager to ensure clients receive the best outcomes and service.
This role provides office-based support for Account Managers, acting as the day-to-day contact for clients regarding basic policy administration. Responsibilities include support with credit limits, policy documentation, overdue accounts, claims, declarations of turnover, accounting queries, and processing no claims/low claims bonuses.
The day-to-day responsibilities include:
* Supporting and advising clients on credit limit applications, appeals, and monitoring progress.
* Advising clients on declarations of turnover and submitting these as needed.
* Supporting clients with accounting queries such as premium payments and policy adjustments.
* Assisting colleagues with renewal negotiations.
* Communicating with underwriters regarding the above matters.
* Maintaining client records in both hard copy files and the Goldmine database.

About you:
* Trade credit experience is preferred, but full training will be provided.
* Ability to work under pressure as part of a small team.
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
* Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
* Confidence in dealing with stakeholders at all levels, with skills in communication (both written and verbal), negotiation, sales, and IT.
