Primary Teaching Assistant

In this role, you will work closely with teachers and pupils to provide vital support, promote inclusive learning, and help children achieve their full potential. Location: Southampton
Hours: Full-time / Part-time
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £430 - £450 per week

What You’ll Do:
✨ Support teachers in delivering engaging, tailored lessons, especially for students with SEMH and SEN needs
✨ Develop strong, trusting relationships to enhance confidence and emotional stability
✨ Assist students in developing social skills and emotional regulation strategies
✨ Maintain a calm, positive, and safe classroom environment
✨ Contribute to a team dedicated to the holistic development, inclusion, and safeguarding of every child
What We’re Looking For:
Prior experience working with children or young people (minimum 1-2 years preferred)
Compassion, patience, and a proactive approach
Excellent communication skills
Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic environment
Enhanced DBS on the update service
Full driving license is advantageous
