Description Cape Cornwall School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to join their Learning Support Team. The post will involve working closely with students who have a range of barriers that mean they require support that is in addition to/different from the mainstream offer. The successful applicant will have a patient and caring nature, as well as an inherent desire to help students with additional needs thrive academically and socially. A full induction programme and training in a range of SEN needs and proven strategies will be given to support the successful candidate as they take up the role. We are looking to employ someone for 3 days a week: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.30am – 3.00pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. 18 hours per week (excluding 30-minute unpaid lunchbreaks), 39 weeks per year (term time) plus Inset Days.
